Border Security - Is There Any Such Thing?
Imeanyou: We have enormous capacity in the west to care for so much larger numbers of refugees and other vulnerable peoples around the world than we presently do. I think, certainly there is just grounds for weaker, poorer states to take measures to secure themselves against predatory outsiders. But i just want to say that we in the west aren't those kinds of states presently, and we don't have the same kind of justification for strictly controlling a the movement of people across our borders.
