Reductive Stress

The proton's thread is that different fats when they're burned on the mitochondria, essentially produce different amounts of something called reactive oxygen species. And so then this thing called glutathione reductase comes along and it actually uses a molecule of NADPH to get rid of each hydrogen peroxide molecule which is being generated in the system. So there's, there's several ways how these systems can be dysregulated. The way that we get rid of reactive oxygen species is with something calledglutathione - one of the body's main antioxidant.
