Aristotle, St. Thomas Aquinas and Father Robert Brennan were among those who believed that truth is the conforming of the mind to reality. If we don't have that proper order, then quite honestly, we become separated from reality, because we have no contact with reality. And so in a word, I think Father Brennan's book lie as the antidote to many of the societal problems that have come in the wake of modern philosophy.
