In order to achieve that idea of deep peace, it has to be stable to defection. If you have a kind of situation where one side benefits from instituting violence again, then it probably is not going to be very stable ultimately. So we'd have to develop some sort of social immune system so that in radical transparency, somebody discovers some entity that is violating the norm of deep peace. We'd have to have a series of escalations that we all agree in our heart of hearts are correct up to and including killing them if necessary.
