Can the Debt Relief Plan Be Struck Down by the Courts or if He Needs Congressional Approval?
There are two cases holding up the debt relief plan that one has to do with whether biden has the authority to do this as president or if he needs congressional approval. There is a good chance at least a decent chance that the courts will end up striking this down outright because the legal justification for it is kind of on shaky grounds. With republicans taking over the house of representatives we expect that the current house minority leader kevin macarthy is going to become the next speaker of the house.
