The Bible Provides the Template for All of Life

Sally Kohn: I found it really powerful the way that you didn't diminish it at all, but also saw in the course of history as something that Sally's happened to offer. Because it was non-defensive. It sort of looked the issue straight in the eye, but also kind of pan back to show the wider context. The purpose of preaching is really to draw our experience into the Bible, not the other way around. And on this issue, the Bible is so good. It's so clear-eyed about human depravity.
