Psychoanalysis Is a Kind of Empty Learning of Why You Are the Way You Are
A lot of conventional religious practice is empty, magical ritual not really leading to much transformation of character. A good deal of psychoanalysis can fall into this ideology driven ritual practice without producing much genuine character change. This is as true in religion as it is in various forms of spirituality and mysticism and meditative practice.
