The life cycle of software objects is the best example I know of why caregiving should be so important if we were going to actually have genuine artificial intelligence. And also not just being about humans but involving the way that we feel about the natural world, the way thatwe feel about artificial intelligences. So let me start out with the caregiving part about caring for machines and caring for humans.
