When you see an anonymous source, you should ask yourself, why is this source anonymous? And it's generally for one of two reasons. One is that they are saying something that is contrary to the interests of their employer. The much more common use of anonymity is to have something that an organization wants to get out and people will believe it. But i find that kind of doesn't pass the bul testome.
