Home Assistant: A Complement to Home Kit

Home assistant is not something that replaces home kit, at least for me. I can integrate a lot of additional features that home kit doesn't give me. It automatically discovered my Apple TV on the same Wi-Fi network. You follow a bunch of prompts and you enter a bunch of pin codes. And later, the Apple TV shows up as a device in your home assistant installation.
