CouchDB: A Custom Sync Engine
Real-time technology has evolved a lot over the years. So there are definitely a lot more like off-the-shelf CRDT implementations. We've had to build everything ourselves. There's nothing existing in this sync engine. Well, now we start to use YJS for the last sort of feature that hasn't been real-time,. And now we're finally putting that into place. Hopefully, hopefully we'll have it out soon - not soon, but soonish.
