"I was essentially my mom's therapist. Like her best friend," Folsom says of his upbringing. "My parents relationships with their own parents and their own family systems seem to be very fractured." His dad is a charming conman, but he also sees us as extensions of himself being a more narcissistic personality type. He never grew up with uncles or cousins so the experience of living within his family system was very isolated.
