DeVries Digiconomist - 16 Out of 24 Cited Data Points That Are Completely Meritless
Of the 24 data points cited, fully 58% are DeVries Digiconomist estimates. He biases estimate upwards for Bitcoin by assuming average ASIC hardware is very old and hence inefficient. The e-waste claim relies entirely on a DeVries paper which is just absurd. His energy consumption model doesn't actually follow its own stated methodology.
