Copywriting - The 60 Second Sales Hook

The human attention span is now eight seconds, beat out by the goldfish at nine seconds. And this is incredibly important because obviously when people arrive on your site or they go to a landing page or maybe they're on a sales page, you have a very, very short period of time to grab people's attention. So I call this the 60 second sales hook. And it comes from Pat, I did stand up comedy in my twenties. He spent about a decade touring all over the U.S., working holiday and lounges and comedy clubs and nightclubs and college campuses. The stakes are never higher for a comic than when they get on their first national TV spot, right?
