The Learning Process Is Broken Down
In a recent article, Gareth Dale argues that the labor movement is unable to transmit a learning process in which solidarity had emerged as a counterculture. We should be thinking about how do we continue transmitting concrete processes in which trust could emerge, so that collective action could be effective? i think what's often forgotten is that it was generations of people that built up those capacities together. It doesn't seem like a freedom when you're sitting down and having some annoying conversation with your co-worker who never had before.
