Stanley was born cubick in the Bronx, New York. Married his high school sweetheart when he was 19 years old. Became a photographer at 17 and worked for second to life magazine. Took part in five of stanley's earliest films including onto juliard. No other film maker is as good at taking you into a completely different world.
