Who Is Excluded From Communion?
The Eucharist is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The act of receiving Holy Communion by its very name clearly expects that the one receiving is in communion with the reality of our Lord present in the Eucharist. So if I'm going to receive Christ, then I must accept Christ not as I have decided He is, but as the church, as His spouse has articulated who He actually is. It really is all or nothing.
