Is the Fed Really Fighting Inflation?
Inflation is moving up faster than the rathikes. The fed would be pursuing an inflationary monetary policy. 100 basis points ain't gein to cut. I don't even know if 500 basis points would cut it. That's why the fed has to get out in front of inflation. It needs a mass of rate hike. In fact, this was one of the worst days i've seen in particular in the five year. A lot of people assume that when we are in a recession, that that's good to cure inflation. It's going to kick inflation into a whole new gear. This naive belief that recession will cure inflation is in the bond market, which got beat up
