The Importance of Studying Games

I remember when I was trying to get into games, it was like, there are a couple of courses around. So my parents were like, look, you can do things that are like video games, but don't try to do a video game degree. All sorts of other stuff that is useful. If you can program, if you can write, you'll be fine. And so that was kind of the mentality. Yeah, okay. How did that go? Did it, did it vibe with you?
