Jussie started his career with an interest in antimicrobial resistance and pandemics. He then moved further down the spectrum to focus on more catastrophic risks such as engineered biology, he says. Joshua now works for the future of humanity Institute here in Oxford where he focuses on biosecurity issues including antibiotic resistant superbugs.
