The Importance of Dirac's Theoretical Physics

When he wrote that book, it was published in 1930, quantum mechanics was still a work in progress. It stimulated the next generation of physicists from Feynman, Julian Schwinger and Senator Tomanaga. That was their bible. So it was tremendously influential. When you were ready to first you couldn't understand it. Can you still not understand it when you read it? No, I would say I could understand it now. But it was... I'm going to use the word deep again. It brings out and constructs things in a very deep way.
