The Mysticism Framework
The Euchtrenders are referring to a study that was conducted in 2006 by Roland Griffiths at Johns Hopkins University. Over 14 months, 135 volunteers were given high doses of psilocybin and studied so that researchers could learn about the acute and longer term psychological effects. Of the course of the trial, the volunteers were asked to complete the mystical experience questionnaire. The results were published in a paper that concluded, quote, what administered under supportive conditions. Psilocybin occasioned experiences similar to spontaneously occurring mystical experiences.
