Tolkien's Misogyny and Misanthropy

A myth hater would not see the world as a purely materialistic existence. They'd be looking at it from the perspective of, well, this is a tree because it's a tree. But then so how does Tolkien see it? He sees no stars who does not see them first of living silver made that sudden burst to flame like flowers beneath an ancient song. There is no firmament only avoid unless a jeweled tent, myth woven and elf patterned. No earth unless the mother's womb once all have birth.
