Russia has more people that's true but that's one of the if you just focus on that variable it'll dry. Hands-eye raised training as something that really needs to be scaled up rather than conversations about which German tank to send. Offensive operations and land warfare by definition are harder than defensive operations. But another way it's a lot easier to mobilize personnel who will entrench than it is to get them to engage and combine their arms offensive maneuver.
