"I was living by myself in a one bedroom flat and i was incredibly lonely, very, very lonely all the time," she says. "So as soon as i started writing this new version of people person, i could feel so connected to it,. And then maybe an hour later, i was lik, that's going to be a novel." The book is based on her experiences growing up with nine half-siblings.
