The Importance of Private Dictionaries

As a Chinese author, using Anglophone language to write, I had this obsessive fascination with language and as the use of a dictionary. So that was really the moment four or five years ago I began this book. We could call it a book of etymology of separation or private dictionary, but for me it's really the word radical here, double meaning radical in Latin, the radis, the roots of words. And then the radical in Chinese is exactly what we call the bushel, exactly the same meaning, the foundation,. the roots of a building block of one Chinese immigrant.
