Fannie Mae Monthly Forecast - Is That a Nice Way to Say It?
The Fannie Mae monthly forecast, which came out just a few days ago and doesn't look great. I don't think like there's going to be much of a mini refi boom, even if rates do drop down back into the fives in the latter half of 2023. What you know is the Fed is going to continue to raise rates all through this year or early next year. And so most likely the first quarter will be the largest home price decline as we see whether prices fall or not.
