China Will Not Pay a Penalty for All Their Trade Secrets
The president is thinking about removing some or all of the remaining tariffs against china. He's doing it, the argument goes, to lower the amount you pay for goods to lower inflation. But if we do that, then china won't pay a penalty for all the trade secrets that they've stolen and continue to steal. And so the question that i would ask of you in the white house this morning is what penalty should we use to force china to pay for stealing all our stuff?
