The Importance of Fasting

The Lord Jesus Christ gives his grace in such bewilderingly incarnate ways. We're fasting out of fallen capacity or fallen powers of the soul and we can't expect for them to tend directly to their goal. So there's this real close connection in the incarnate order between denying ourselves bodily and attaining to a higher spiritual fulfillment or joy herehere.
