The History of Mom Cat

Disney never had a cat or rather a popular cat. It's not part of the Disney story. Even at the time, I think cats were having a moment when the dead cats' paperbacks became a fad. Mom cat is like a big chunky cat with a baby cat in its pouch like a kangaroo. The Playboy cartoonist B. Kleiben did a series of lots of sexy cartoons of cats. His cats are kind of dopey. They're lard.
