The Shaping of Cultural Baggage

I think so many of the problems and the things that are being exposed are cultural baggage that has been piled on top of the church and of the gospel. And you need a shaking to shake some of that baggage loose. I've seen members of the Joshua generation who, you know, have had these revelations about things that were so central to their childhoods and young adulthoods. The church exists to help people find the original Jesus, the Jesus in Scripture, free of all the cultural baggage that especially in America has just accumulated over time.
