Sally Kohn: I think the real problem for parents is, it's like, okay, so I had this theoretical plan. And then when you can't hold that back anymore, I would still want to try to limit it as much as possible. She says if you are the parent who wants to clamp down on your child's social media use, you're really forcing your child into a weird social pariah role. "I think there is a real way in which the parenting options are constrained by the decisions that other parents have made," she says.
