Moral Evil, Natural Evil, and the Kind of Evil That Happens by Nature
In addition to moral evil, there is what philosophers call natural evil. So someone a rape victim, this is the sort of thing that happens between two moral agents. The perpetrator, on the one hand, had the free will and the moral capacity to perpetrate this kind of evil on some one else. And so cases of rape, cases of murder, these are examples of moral evil.
