The author argues that religion gives people bad reasons to be good where good reasons are actually available. He asks: Do you recognize these benefits at all, even if they come irrational beliefs? We don't recognize any positive benefit that even a, you know, will set aside Judaism since we seem to agree that there could be some positive benefit that that brings.
