Malawi Myra - What's Happened Since?
Dr. Bonus McAnani was a gynecologist and obstetrician who helped give birth to thousands of babies in Malawi. The ring is at various stages across Sub-Saharan Africa but hasn't yet been approved by government so we're still waiting on the ring to be introduced into government policy before it can be rolled out more widely to the general public. But the other big thing that's been going on here Maya since we last looked at this in 2017 is the big rise in people taking PrEP.
