Introduction

Hasta Kraskus attacked the assumptions underlying Aristotelian physics. His ideas were not wholly new, but he went further than Maimonides and Gersonides. He was cited by Renaissance philosophers like Pico de la Merandola and later by Spinoza. It would be going too far to say there would have been no modern science without him.
