Is There a Longer Oxygen Tank on the Airplane?
There's no way he could have known that the pilots were incapacitated. I'm sure he probably tried to call them on the intercom, but got no response. He might have passed out initially and then regained consciousness. There are portable oxygen tanks stored on the plane that they can use if they need to. Most likely this mail flight attendant accessed those oxygen tanks ad started using them.
