Fox had to pay large fees to any performer, writer or director credited in the clip. It ended up being a really expensive episode. So that's how we did it. A lot of times our characters are describing what they're seeing and you just see like a flash of a Glee character on the screen. But you don't really gather any plot from the actual clips.
