The Importance of Forgiveness

In the preface, Lewis says that this is a response to the marriage of heaven and hell by William Blake. The entire work is very confusing because for quite a lot of it the devil is the one who's speaking. You're not always entirely sure whether or not what he is saying is true. It seems silly when we're on the outside rationally reading it. But at the same time, it's very easy for me to think of scenarios in my own life where I make that decision of choosing a dollar rather than a thousand dollars.
