CHAPTER

The Moral Dimension of Climate Denialism

I was astonished to see that conspiratorial thinking about climate change has brought about literal witch hunts and executions, which I actually saw in Nonsense on Stilts. And what's a rarity for philosophical books is that due to the wealth of examples of pseudoscience and conspiracy theories, it is also extremely entertaining. If you want to look at it at the funny side of things, yeah, it's actually pretty funny. But it is a kind of comedy that has, unfortunately, nefarious consequences, and that's why it's a serious matter.
