The Importance of Differential Blood Culture Rates in Intensive Care
The results are still undergoing a sense of peer review with the major journal. I'm very interested to see how people react to this study in Australia. However, if you have a widely available, palatable, stable drug preparation which is cost effective and cheap, and you can train it for nurses to deliver it. Then I think there has to be a pretty compelling case not to give it. And that actually not just me to maybe use it rather than not use it in isolation of the trial.
