Pre-Production Versus Production?
In pre-production, you can do some exploration of the data to build your analysis. And then once you say, okay, this is ready to go to production, that goes to a different operating environment so that you don't have any capability of exploring the data. That also brings into question whether or not the data that they're using in the pre-production stage is truly representative of the actual live data. These are all operational challenges that one does need to overcome.

Encryption and security are critical elements in data analytics and machine learning applications. We have well developed protocols and practices around data that is at rest and in motion, but security around data in use is still severely lacking. Recognizing this shortcoming and the capabilities that could be unlocked by a robust solution Rishabh Poddar helped to create Opaque Systems as an outgrowth of his PhD studies.
