Garry White says apologetic groups do tremendous pre evangelistic kind of work, where sometimes you have to sow the seed out in the field before it sprouts up. He thinks there's a value even if people never come to christe from those sorts of exercises. We don't want christians who are chirping like the chirpers on the other side, he adds.
