It's tempting to look at some of these just astonishing candidates and think, God, it can't have ever been any worse than this. The Republican candidate for Senate in Arizona says his vote for the most underrated thinker is the Unibomber Ted Kaczynski. No political party has ever had to face candidate problems this bad,. But as bad as it is right now, it has been worse, I swear.
