Ethereum - Is Sharding a Good Idea?

Sharding is mainly about dividing a blockchain into different subsets and then making sure that they talk to one another. Roll-ups are basically uncoring. So you have your own layer and you take a batch of a bunch of transactions. You have a second sector. Right now it's actually a problem in my eyes in the Ethereum ecosystem because all the seconds are completely centralized at this point on a cross-op team like a multi-tramp stock net.
