This kind of reminds me of the controversy that came out of Canada a while ago where some dude who was like the architect of a new sex ed curriculum turned out to be like a huge pedo and like a foie grin. And yeah, it was. It kind of makes sense that people who are really into the sexuality of children, you know, in that field. If you're like someone who's into that, then it makes sense that ... maybe not everyone, but it certainly makes sense that that field of research or study would attract people who have certain preformed ideas about the sexuality of kids.
