The UK government is considering a law that would force companies like Apple and WhatsApp to create backdoors into their encrypted messaging apps. The move could make it easier for them to be hacked by hackers or other governments. But the tech giants say they won't do it because of two reasons: They can't break in, and there's no way to get around it.
