"I am not for, I don't like, I do not like politicized movies and art," he says. "If you're going to do modern age LA noir, you kind of got a deal with like the racism and, you know, and messed up this." His wife does not like mob movies because she thinks they glorify criminal identity politics. He's proud of his Italian American heritage but has some issues with Hollywood portrayal of mafia.
