How Does Consensus Decision-Making Work?
Groups of people are trying to do these different experiments by becoming self-sufficient or creating systems of mutual aid. They have to navigate how invested or uninvested they will be into those state mechanisms. As a general rule, I would say most of them have committed to something that is very similar to consensus decision-making. The simple things like the washing up tends to have its own kind of way of doing things.
