What Can I Do to Help My Students?
i would check in with the kids who were slightly behind pace to see what i could do for them. And if everyone was really self directed, i would use that time to look at their work and give feedback. I think that one of the most sad things about being a teacher is that somehow along the way we learn that you can't grade student work or respond to student work during class. That's what, for me, was like, so transformational about this model.
